MPEG-7 Video Signature for Robust Video Identification
◎岩元浩太・大網亮磨・野村俊之(NEC)
This paper describes the frame-level descriptor (frame signature) accepted in MPEG-7 Video Signature Tools, a standard providing interoperable tools for uniquely identifying video contents. The frame signature describes the intensity differences between various sub-regions in an image. The sub-regions are configured at variety of scales, shapes, and position, to provide uniqueness and robustness to the descriptor. The intensity differences are quantized into ternary values, resulting in a compact representation of 76 bytes per frame.
